Piper Function Room
This is our main function room and is located upstairs in The Oxford, adjacent to Bistro Piper. The Piper Room will suit functions for up to 200 people, whether it be for a cocktail party, a sit down dinner, a wedding or business meeting – the possibilities are endless. The room can be transformed to suit your event and with a breathtaking view to match, is the perfect location for the function of your dreams.
The Garden Grill Balcony
This balcony adjoins the function room. This space can cater up to 80 guests standing and 50 guests seated. The balcony offers a spectacular view over Bathurst in a Northerly direction, with the Great Dividing Range visible in the distance. This balcony takes perfect advantage of the view; one unlike no other in Bathurst.
Hiring the Garden Grill Balcony alone is $75.00 for the night.
William & Piper St Balcony
These balcony’s are connected, however are often used as separate areas for functions and private events. The Piper Balcony runs parallel to Piper Street, while the William Balcony runs parallel to William Street. Both balcony areas are extremely private, and are perfect for an intimate event.
The entire balcony area has been recently renovated and is now fully enclosed with cedar and glass windows, allowing a beautiful breeze to flow through during spring and autumn. In the warmer summer months, the windows are closed and the air conditioners turned on to create the perfect atmosphere. During the winter, the balconies heaters give a warm inviting atmosphere. Both balconies are fitted with plasma televisions and full sound systems.
You can book the each balcony separately, or book them both together, depending on the number of guests at your function
Hiring the William and Piper Sts balcony is a cost of $75.00.

Thank you very much for all your help with the organisation of my 21st on Saturday night. The party went very well and everyone had a great time. Please thank Catherine and all the bar staff for their great service and help throughout the night. Me and my family were extremely happy with the venue and how the night ran, so thank you!
I will be in tomorrow morning to collect anything that was left there on Saturday night.

Everyone really enjoyed the wedding. You and your staff were great and nothing was too much trouble.
Had quite a few comments on the quality of the food. It was thoroughly enjoyed and the night went off really well without a hitch.
Also had a chat to Christine at bishops court and she said she would recommend the Ox for large numbers. She has often been asked as she can only cater for small functions.
All in all was great value for the money.
The bride and groom are honeymooning in Europe so will have to get their thoughts when they get back. All so rushed for them to get packed up and on the plane didn’t have time to talk about it.
I want you to know that everyone was so pleased with the party on Sunday, 20th October, especially the birthday ‘girl’.
Andrew and Emma were splendid hosts and did everything they could to make people feel welcome.
We lost a few people that weekend to bushfires concerned. Two of our close families were evacuated from the Blue Mountains, and a couple other older people did not want to travel with the smoke concerns, so we were a tiny bit over on catering, and you were right, the chef is very generous.
Thank you for all your help in organising the party. You made everything absolutely effortless for us and I do appreciate it very much.
